Not to sure about the temps where these fur kids are but here in the U.K.
ours live outside all the time,,, No not in small cages or hutches but
in a large shed that is attached to a six foot square aviary with sleep
box's on different levels, there are pipes and singing wheels that
contain a bowl that has a sleep sack inside it to act as a swing bed,,
now,, if you can shelter a section of the area so that they have a nice
shaded area to get into to sleep when the temp creeps up and also
somewhere they can laze in to catch the morning warmth, then there is no
reason on earth why the furkids should have to be given away,, just a
little thought in planning things out then there will be no problems.  of
course as I said I do not know the temps you get there but over here in
the U.K. the temp in our area hit 98f several times this year.
