Hi! Ak - a 1/2 year old albino and I have been reading the FML for a short
time now. My roomates dubbed Ak the "white tiger" for the way in which she
terrified the three cats when she was only 8 - weeks old. Unfortunately my
white tiger is having a tough time with our most recent addition - Copland -
a 45 pound German Shepard + Collie + who knows. Copland is very friendly and
likes to play fairly rough. We tried to introduce them by putting Copland in
a crate and letting them sniff each other, but he insists on lunging at Ak
(or anything else which moves near his cage). Whenever he does this she runs
away terrified and refuses to return. We once tried to hold them while they
checked each other out, but Copland was too strong for his owner and managed to
get his mouth around Ak's head and my hand! While this was probably play
(since my hand and Ak's head are still attached!) it was too scary for words.
Any suggestions??
