I was informed today that a ferret was taken to City Animal Control
and then released to Lollypop Farm (Humane society) in the last few
days. Said ferret boarded and attempted to commandeer the Fed Ex truck
delivering within the Gates, NY area. Said ferret refused to leave the
truck and was then taken into custody.

I have purposely not described the ferret. If you know of anyone in
this area missing a ferret they can call Lollypop Farm directly at
585-223-1330 and ask for "stray animals."

In the fall of the year, I took into foster care a male ferret for
Lollypop Farm who was found roaming the mean streets of Rochester. The
Town of Gates borders Rochester on its south east side. I now wonder
if there could be a notorious gang of masked bandits working the area.
Thank goodness Roam-eo has turned himself around and is leading an
honest life now. He is however, exceptionally talented in hustling
snacks and in fact hustled his way into our home. Perhaps a carryover
from his previous lifestyle???
