Hi!  I know we've talked about this before, but how do you know when the cat
is playing too rough.  I noticed BK would lay in wait for the two boys
(Sophie's too tough for the cat :) ) and then ambush them.  They'd roll over
and over and I'd worry the BK would go for the throat, but he doesn't seem
to.  I feel like disciplining BK, but I don't want him to think that ferrets
are scary or "bad".  Any suggestions?
 
Also, at the end of this month I'm going on a month long honeymoon.  We are
having a house sitter, but I thought I might give the ferrets to a friend to
take care of them while we're gone.  Our housesitter worked for a pet shop
and adores ferrets.  My dilema is this, if I give my friend my babies I know
they will be well cared for because she knows how very dear they are to me.
They would, however, have to spend part of the day in the cage.  The cage is
really nice, three level with ramps and I equipped it with lots of toys.
Jake, my youngest, has never been in a cage for a very long time.  I've been
putting Jake, Sophie, and Marty in the cage for about an hour, but Jake
looks so stressed out, I have to leave the room.  Sophie and Marty are used
to cages after last year's bout with ECE.  All three actually have their own
room with many drawers, big thick sweaters, tubes, and toys.  I'm agonizing
over whether to leave them here with the housesitter in their own familiar
environment or give them to my friend.  I love my babies so much and I want
them to be safe and happy.  Does anyone have any advice?
