     Fellow FMLers;

I thought about a petition via E-Mail that could be compiled and
sent to John Neil, et al. I do not know how much attention would be
paid to it since it would not contain handwritten signatures.
However, I'm sure if everyone clearly stated their position on ferret
treatment at the county/state/federal level, and their name, address
and phone number it could make for quite a lot of paper once printed
     out.

        FX:

I want fair and equal treatment for ferrets.
They deserve equal, or even better, treatment
as that received by cats/dogs if/when they
bite someone. The health department is NOT
the "end all" when it comes to knowledge of
ferrets. FYI, Ferrets have been DOMESTICATED
500 YEARS longer that the cat.

I, unfortunately, cannot make the time to collect submissions of
this type for the petition. However, if someone would [please]
volunteer and collect/compile this info, I would be willing to take a
day off of work to hand-deliver the printed petition in the
Baltimore-DC area. Additionally, if someone does officially take on
this task, you may use the above example as my submission to the
     petition.

                                Regards,
                                  Al
