Dear Alice,
 
Please don't follow the current political lead and allow the opinions of
the few (uninformed and/or uneducated) people who would drag you down.
You do wonderful work and should keep it up.  Please don't let the
ferrets suffer because some person decided to say some nasty things.
Opinions are like "a." everyone has one and most stink.  Do what you know
is right and don't worry about what anyone else have to say about it.
They're probably jealous anyway.  And if you close your doors to new
intakes (needy fuzzies) who will take your place?  Where will those
ferrets go?
