I had always understood that Adrenal Gland Disease holds no mercy on age,
sex, altered or unaltered.

I had brought Nikki home today from PEI...he is doing great from his
adrenalectomy. The vets there had given me various printouts on the
topic of Adrenal Gland Disease. One of the articles, written by Dr.
Heidi Hoefer, can be found at the following site:

http://www.petplace.com/article-printer-friendly.aspx?id=530

If you go to the site and scroll down to the heading "Information
In-depth", then move to the forth bullet point, it starts off -
Adrenal Gland Disease is only seen in neutered ferrets (both males
and females)...

I've (heard/read) different (factors/studies) of (things/conditions)
that may trigger/bring on adrenal disease, but I never knew that Adrenal
Disease ONLY came to altered ferrets. I don't know that I believe
this... I'm sure someone can set me straight...
