I feel like such a jerk.  I'll tell you why.  Everyday I check my mail
when I come home from work, sometimes this is at 10pm.  We have theose
mailboxes that are all together in front of someones house and you need a
key to get your mail.  Well one night a few weeks ago, I checked my mail,
as usual it looked like junk mail and bills, and as usual I tossed it on
the floor.  Well about every so often I get the notion to go through the
pile of mail on the floor of my car.  As I'm doing this and tossing out
the bills and the junk mail I see an envelope from SOS.  I open it up to
find a check for $100 made out to our vet.  The note on it said from our
friends on the FML.
 
So last week I gave it to our vet, it was a great surprise and as always
very needed.
 
So, now I feel like an idiot for not seeing it sooner and thanking
everyone who for helping out the shelter, and of course to SOS for making
it all happen.
