Dear Ferret Folks-

Recent events have demonstrated, once again, that Switch the Kit is not
nearly as bright as she thinks she is. Last night she got the clever
idea to steal the ferretone spoon and stash it where the sun don't shine
beneath the bureau in her room. Think of it....the ferretone spoon.
Shiny. Tastes yummy. So attractive, even seductive. A 'must have' for
the serious collector.

Switch managed to pick the spoon up in her teeth and carry it in her mouth
like a dog with a bone. Nothing so fine as this could be legal , however,
and she knew it. It was necessary to grab the spoon and stash it as
quickly as possible, before the no fun at all hooman could snatch it back.

She got a good grip on the spoon and ran toward the little gap between the
wall and a cardboard box that would lead to the area beneath the bureau.
The spoon was maybe six inches from tip to tip, and was held horizontally
between her teeth, long axis parallel to the floor. The horizontal gap
between the wall and the cardboard box was less than TWO inches across.
As long spoon met short gap at a high velocity, Switch experienced what I
will describe as a 'rapid deceleration'. All that inertia, and no place
to go. BONK! She was knocked flat on her furry little gray butt.

Boy, was she p***** at that spoon! She spat it out and gave it a long,
hate-filled glare. If looks could kill...She left it where it fell, and
it is still there now.

Switch is bad at physics. Geometry, too.
