Interestingly, I've never heard of Larry Tilford and it's obvious that he's
not been into our shelter to discuss adopting, as his above statements (as
to our inquiries into peoples finances) are totally fabricated. There was a
subject on the FML several months ago, where I participated in a discussion
about people needing to be able to afford surgeries, and I suspect that is
what Larry Tilford is reporting. Larry has never seen our adoption
application let alone filled one out and could not have been turned away
from adoption by us.

Please Larry, understand that you are not helping your sincerity nor
credibility when you choose to spread misinformation. Respect is a two way
street; we all start out being very respectful of the potential adopter, but
when we check information on adoption application and find lies and
deception there is no further respect warranted. The only "service" pet
stores provide, that shelters usually do not, is that they take credit cards
from whoever has one.
