Thanks everyone for all your concern.  I did get my baby back.  I was going
down to the mail boxes to post up some signs and there was a note posted to
the board that said " Found Ferret, please call me to claim." Needless to
say I ran home as fast as I could to call her.  Her name is Diana and she
was great.  Kitty woke them up at 2 AM scratching on their door five
buildings away.  I guess that she ran into their house and basically climbed
her leg wanting to be held.  Well after five hours of being out in the cold,
I would want to cuddle to.  When I went and got her, she just wanted me to
hold her.  She was very happy to be home.  needless to say -- SO WAS I ..
 
Thanks to all that sent nice notes of support,  Losing a fuzzy is an
experiance that I never want to have.
