Everyone will be pleased to know that D'Artagnan, Amber, Rex and Smokey are
all getting along. Amber the cat is eating again. Amber was laying on my
bed earlier, I put D'Artagnan next to him to introduce them again and Amber
licked him (is it a friendly attitude or Amber testing D'Artagnan's taste?
I don't know but it was a good sign.)

I brought D'Artagnan to the vet, Dr. Rich, for anyone who might live in the
New Orleans area. He specialises in exotics. D got a clean bill of health
(except for a little earwax buildup which Dr. Rich removed. Boy, was D
FUSSING when Dr. Rich did that!!! He weighs all of a pound and a half and
has a big tummy.

If any vets can email me about the ferret (I am a pre-vet student at UNO),
I can never seem to find enough information about them. Does anyone know
where to get the biology book on the ferret....I'd love to read it. Who
knows, I might end up specializing in exotics or might do like the vets I
work for (Dr. Mel Dorner and Dr. Jack Johnston...both of them incredible
doctors, I've learned so much from them already) and take all of them.

Kris and the peaceable Kingdom
