Felicitations, fellow ferret fanciers!

I try to tread lightly on the earth when I can. Plus, I love to watch
ferrets at play. Peeper's sister Scooter's adopted father came up with a
nifty ferret condo and a good way to recycle, too. In the computer repair
business, we go through shiploads of cardboard boxes. He taped a few clean
ones together creatively with 100mph tape, cut some access holes for himself
*and* Scooter, and threw in a toy just to show her what the new place was
for. She didn't need much coaxing! She loves the hiding- and- exploring
place, and after a month or three the boxes are ready for the mulch pile!
Our fuzzies all love the idea. Maybe yours will too!

I figure one breadbox-sized box per ferret, for starters, with ferret holes
and human access in all the right places, all taped together should do the
trick. Maybe a playroom, a gym, and uh, ... Well, with the abundance of
cardboard boxes these days, you get the idea.

Obviously, it's a Good Idea to *lose the foam* :o( Stuff it into an old
pillow case, sew it tightly shut, and use it for a knee-cushion as you
<ROTFL> at your fuzzies.

Happy ferreting!

Jimbo...

PS, re: <ROTFL>, how about a new ferret-emoticon: "<BACLAF>" "Bouncing And
Chuckling Like A Ferret"?? Any others?
