Please.....this is in no way against the shelter where the ferret has
been for over 10 years, because I think shelter moms and dads are the
greatest people in the world....but there is a ferret on the Giving
Tree that has been fed raw chicken meat and whole prey since coming to
the shelter in 1999 that has insulinoma and adrenal disease. Evidently
raw or prey diet does not prevent health problems completely.

Nancy and her 21 furkids in OR including the new guy found in the park
named..... Parker....of course ;-)
