If you haven't heard, we found a litter of wild-born black-footed
ferret kits in Canada! Check out our homepage
http://www.prairiewildlife.org
for my video of mom and three kits out in the wild. Exciting stuff!
We now have confirmed that black-footed ferrets have survived and
reproduced in Canada!

I'll be back up there in a few weeks and we will trap the kits for a
health check. And all of this was filmed by 'The Nature of Things' that
will be broadcast in Canada sometime in Feb 2011. But don't worry, I
will find a way for us to see this 1-hour long documentary on
black-footed ferrets in the US and elsewhere!
