Well, Kila is about 2 yrs. old, de clawed, and so ferret friendly that
when I got her a year ago she just sat there while ferrets climbed all over
her & bit her ears.. She meowed but didn't move. I had to take the ferret
& say "no, that's not a big ferret, please don't bite her... Then I took
Kila & said "you don't have to site there & be bit, go up on the chair or
couch:)

My problem is that my 18 yo cat, Jimmy, won't cover her litter box use a
lot of the time. This has Kila going on the rugs. I tried 2 litter boxes,
but she still uses the rugs. In the motor home at least I have throw rugs
on plastic runners over the built in carpet, but I just can't keep up with
my cfsids lack of energy to clean the rugs as fast as she urinates on them.
Before Jimmy failed to cover her litter box use, Kila was using the box
without a problem.

If someone between here (Denver-Longmont Colorado) area and Phoenix cannot
accommodate Kila, she will have to go to the humane society here. I just
can't handle this on top of everything else. I will be leaving here in a
few days when Tina's ashes are returned to me, stopping in Colo. Springs
for a week or so, then thru New Mexico I-25 to I-40 west, to Flagstaff, &
south to Phoenix.

Kila is very sweet black & brown, no health problems, likes to chase teaser
strings on end of stick, snuggle next to you in your lap or next to you,
and mostly is very ferret tolerant and being de clawed will never have an
accident where a ferret might be clawed jumping on her in her sleep (as I
have heard about).

The humane society will not guarantee that she will be adopted, but on top
of 5 thermostats failing in the motor home, Tina dying, having to go back
to Px to deal with the insurance co. about the disability, I'm just at the
end of my rope, so to speak.

Thank you for your time in reading this.

hugs to all,

Gary & the gang of fur
Timmy's web site=<http://www.concentric.net/~Gferret/>; He's the ferret
totally healed from "terminal lymphoma" without drugs or surgery. :)
