Sweet Dreams I tell myself

And on my pillow my head I lay
 
I close my eyes
And start to sleep

With a jolt I awake
Heads & tails I do count
They re all there, without a doubt
 
In my bed I lean back
I start to shake and cry
Then with a glance at your picture, smile
 
The little kiss I felt tonight
With the unknown source
Was not a phantom nor a ghost
 
But angels winged with
Wings of fur and gold
Looking for their hidey holes
 
And on their way to the loot
They saw me crying in my bed
And left these kisses on my head
 
I lay back down to close my eyes
And smile to know my phantoms come
