Amazingly, we have a Pediapred success story!

Now, there will be many, many people against this method, but it worked
wonders for our little Max who was on Pediapred for Juvenile Lymphoma for
6 months; this "disguise" worked for at least a month till he figured out
what we were doing. :-) Then we went back and forth with various things,
but we always came back to our standby as it most definitely "covered"
the taste of the pred best: Table cream.

I know that it's not great for their digestive systems, but in the very
small amounts that we hid the Pred in, our vet (*very* ferret knowledgable)
assured us that it was OK and to just watch his poops, which we did.

Max *hated* the Pred and became very adept at batting the syring away from
us with amazing accuracy. So I tasted the stuff and went on a search to
find something to "neutralize" the taste. Table cream was the answer for
us...I hope it works for other fuzzies out there who, unfortunately, need
to take their meds.

Cheers-
Tamara, Jeff, and the 4 Mustiledteers (Ginger,
Moonshine, Penny, and Jack)
