Hi Everyone! I'm thrilled to say that I will be going to Pittsburgh to meet you all. Many of you I have only traded emails with and now I get to meet everyone in the flesh, face to face! Who am I? Diane at South Shore Ferret Care, home based shelter gal just south of Boston, Oreo's Mom (LuvU with three legs), Mr. Ferret's Mom (Someone Loved me for an Hour), and more recently posted the story of Houdini and the Pink Box, I'm the maker of Diane's Dry Dook Soup and most recently Wonderful Weasel Laundry Soap, member of (and former Board Member of ) Massachusetts Ferret Friends, ferret sitter extrodinare, specializing in post surgical and at home hospice care. I'll be flying in Thursday afternoon and have spoken with Renee who assures me that somehow I'll be able to get from the airport to the hotel to the Shelter Dinner Thursday evening. I've signed up for to attend the whole weekend and I'll be bringing some free samples of Diane's Dry Dook Soup and Wonderful Weasel Laundry Soap for everyone. Michele Paulhus (Grand Minion and Assistant Shelter Director) has agreed to take all the hospice ferrets to care for, Sara Krause (Junior Minion and Chief Volunteer) will take all of the adoptables and Risa DiVencenzo (Shelter Saint) & Rose German of Little Feet Ferret Retreat have volunteered to scoop, clean and feed while I'm away.
