The following is excerpted from the Seattle Post Intelligencer newspaper,
November 27, 1997, and reported here by Ferrets NorthWest FNW, Mercer
Island, Washington:

Basically the ariticle said that it appeared the ferrets were stabbed
with a syringe or something similar.  The police have identifed a
"person of interest" and have an arrest warrant out for the suspect.
 
Some other things alleged: these were indoor, caged ferrets of a breeder.
The suspect was known to the breeder, apparently.  BIG]
