I just read a post that sounded a lot like Syber. Too bad the writer
didn't get answers from the vet. Syber has short straw like hair. She is
also bloated in the belly. She has had the straw hair since I adopted her
five months ago. She's 2 years old. She bloated up when Roulette was so
sick and she was separated from him. She seemed to slim down after they
were back together. I treat all the ferrets for hairballs and her poop
looked fine yesterday. She cooperated by pooping on the kitchen floor in
front of me. I do see her eating and any time she's out of the cage she
eats some of the cats low fat Science diet. She has just started wanting
to wrestle with us. So I know she is not in pain. Don't feel anything but
a fat belly. She gets carried away and bites while trying to wrestle with
us but signing "NO" makes her let go. She only seems to bite once during
the play. She looked so upset that I had to hug her!

Friday Morning we discovered our four year old dog(Shadow) having seizures.
He never stopped or came out of them, so we had to put him to sleep late
that evening. The vet said it was a brain tumor. I thought we would have
seen some sign? It was so sudden and so painful. I am glad I was home
with my fourteen year old son, who has Chicken Pox! Poor child was afraid
the cats and ferrets would get his Poxes. If anyone wants to respond to my
question about Syber please post on the FML. I have been so overwhelmed
that I seem barely able to read the FML. I don't want anyone to have hurt
feelings if I don't write them back. I'm thankful for my ferrets, they
help through the pain of loss.

Angela(hopefully Shadow can guard the ferret rainbow bridge,he was the
sweetest, strongest, most mild mannered dog I have ever know, but the
pitbull half of him terrified people:))You should have seen the ferrets
trying the find that strange dog smell in the house.
