First off, my heart goes out to everyone who has lost their beloved
ferret companions. May you find comfort in your grieving. I light a
candle for you every day after I read FML with a cup of coffee in one
hand and tissues in the other.

Second, I wanted to give a heads up about the potential hazard of the
{HYPERLINK "suppetpetint1.html"} Super Pet Rik- E-Tik-E Treat Toy. This
is a green speckled snake with a squeaker in the head and rattles in the
tail. Both of our guys have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it and have
given it hard wear. Tonight I noticed that they've managed to break one
of the tail rattles. Inside the rattle was a teeny tiny ball -- just the
right size to cause a blockage. It wouldn't take much for a ferret to
gnaw a hole through the fabric and swallow the ball. Rik-E-Tik-E is out
of circulation until I get time to open a seam and remove the broken
rattle and ball. Definitely something to keep an eye on if your ferrets
have this toy.
