Well, I don't post often, but some posts piked my interest. First
though, I gotta let ya'll know "ferret Math" has struck my household.
I have had 4 fuzzies for about a year now but saw these kids and had to
have them. First I added AnnaBelle, a dark little girl (about 5 wks
old), I then rescued Princess, an older gal of a "piebald" color, and
then little Scarlett a lite sable (who was only FOUR weeks old when I got
her). I've put AnnaBelle and Scarlett in a smaller cage together b/c
they're so much smaller than the others and my albino girl Sno (commonly
know around the house as "Vicious") picks on them relentlessly.

To Patti: Welcome to Georgia!!! Sorry I don't know of any ferret
friendly motels/hotels along your way. We DO have a lot of wonderful
folks owned by ferrets in GA, so someone is sure to help you out. Be
sure to hook up with us! I live in Athens which is not too far from
Woodstock.

Kim O.: I too, have a large Midwest cage that sounds like yours. I don't
have a suggestion for the cage bottom (I do know what you're talking
about) as I haven't housed my babies in it yet. I'd like to now what
modifications you made to stop the falls. My babies "jump", "roll", and
"fall" from the long, steep bottom ramp. It looked dangerous and I don't
want anyone to get hurt so I put them into their old cage again. They'd
have so much more room in the larger cage plus the money I paid for it so
I'd really love to use it. Just not at my babies expense!

Thanks for your help, support, love, and suggestions. I've been on the
lost since 1996 and have learned so much from you on the FML. When I got
my first ferrets, Holly and Michael, I knew nothing except I loved them.
Thanks to you I also learned to take care of them properly!
