Hi everyone,

Although I have not yet seen this Verizon commercial, I am angered by
what I am reading about it. I took advantage of Linda Iroff's link from
yesterday http://www.verizonwireless.com to e-mail the Verizon
executives: Here is what I had to say:

To Whom this may concern,

As a Verizon customer and a ferret owner, I am appalled by your company's
most recent television commercial which depicts a ferret latching on to
the tongue of a young man who is text messaging an SOS. Ferrets are
sweet, lovable creatures and make wonderful pets. They are not the
vicious, savage animals that your commercial portrays them as. The
ferret community has worked long and hard to change the perception that
humanity has of ferrets. With one ignorant, reckless, and irresponsible
commercial, you have managed to undo decades worth of progress. If these
appalling commercials do not cease immediately, I will be cancelling my
regular telephone service with Verizon, and subscribing to Cavalier or
one of your other competitors.

Thank you for your time,

Sincerely,

Dorothy Vecchione

I hope everyone on this list will take the five minutes that it took me
to do this and e-mail, call or write to Verizon. We have strength in
numbers, people! Let us be heard!
