Does anyone else out there feel unsafe about bringing their fuzzies outside?

My ferrets love being outside, at parks, and just kind of going where I go,
but is it safe? Will my ferrets accidently nip anyone and be taken away?
Would it be worth the chance? I don't know if I should anymore. Hopefully
someday in the near future, ferrets will be accepted around "other" people,
like dogs are. And will be recognized as a "friendly little pet", not a
wild animal. Until then, I know I must stop and ask myself "should I?".

        Just my $0.02.
