My furkids have done it. They have REALLY done it this time! ! ! !
They are playing me like a fiddle and lovin' every darn minute of it!!!!

Last night my Snowy was being "unusually" cuddly and sweet - unusual for
him since he always tries to act so 'macho' being the "man of the house".
He was lounging in my arms, 'hanging out' instead of squirming to get
down and I thought this was odd.

So there I am, sitting in the ferret room cuddling with Snowy without a
thought about what the other furkids are "up to". We cuddled together
for at least 10 mintues - a record for Snowy - and then suddenly he
begins getting 'squirmy' and wanting down from my arms. I let out a
heavy sigh, knowing the Kodak moment was over but still wishing that it
could last forever.

Ironically, just at the EXACT same time that Snowball beings getting
antsy and wanting down, Sasha comes trotting quickly through the ferret
room doorway, past Snowy and I, and straight to her hammy. I knew
instantly that something was up because Sasha's my "sneaky little
sweetie" and when she waddles past me that quickly, I KNOW she has
something to hide!

LOW and BEHOLD, when I picked Sasha up she was licking her chops and I
KNEW then what "they" had been up to. Apparently Sasha had smelled
Phoebe's warm soup in the other room and concocted a plan for Snowy (who
I figured out was in on it the entire time!) to keep me pre-occupied
while SHE went in and scarffed up the yummies!!!

I can't believe I fell for such a silly plan!!!! And here I am thinking
Snowy actually wanted to cuddle with mommy!!!! Oh well . . . . . . I'm
still the gatekeeper of the treats (at least until they find a way to
take me hostage, bind and gag me, and hold me for ransom loot). What
they don't realize is that not too many people would give in to their
demands in exchange for my release so they're much better off with me
in charge! LOL!
