Just a brief note.  Fritter is no longer with us.  She went into
shock after a very bad day and we had her put out of her suffering.
It is very difficult to talk now as there are many conflicting
emotions.  Fritter was a remarkable ferret.  Since her cancer was
diagnosed she went 21 weeks with little or no pain.  She was 6 yrs,
8 months old.
 
The vet will be performing an autopsy and we'll sent the results to
the net along with other comments when we are in sufficient emotional
shape.
