I was unable to read the original email, only the replies, so I am
unsure as to the context of the biting. When I first had my two
ferrets, they would both nip at toes and fingers. For the first month
(maybe two, can't recall - was years ago) my partner and I sprayed
Bitter Apple spray on our fingers and toes. The ferrets quickly learned
that biting wasn't a pleasant experience and never tried to chomp
anyone again.
