Not so hard to prove.  Look at a horse a cow a deer.  Their eyes are on
either side of their heads.  This is so that they can look in two different
directions for the carnivores who have their eyes pointed straight ahead so
they can concentrate on their prey.  Look in a mirror.  Where are your eyes?
