Depending on the rabbit, s/he might become agitated if s/he can still
smell the scent of ferret in the playroom -- some rabbits are a more
nervous personality type, I guess.  Ours doesn't care -- the ferrets
aren't allowed near her (since they don't play nice bunny games!), but
when they're out they walk right up to her cage and she doesn't even
flinch, and when she's out she doesn't mind walking near their cage.
Other rabbits get all jittery at the slightest scent of a predator.
You'd have to get to know your particular bunny, once you get one.
