I make my own bedding by shredding all the junk mail that comes through
my letter box also anything that I print off and private mail that i
would not like others to see, once my ferrets have finished with it, I
doughty if anyone would care to sort through it to find my details.
 
A great source of ferret nest boxes can be found in any pet shop that
caters for the breeders of parrots, one of these boxes laid on its side
could make a great nest box for several ferrets, personally I have used
these for the past 20 or so years with great results and as these boxes
are about 9 inches wide it means that you can stack the boxes so giving
your ferret several nest boxes to chooses from.
