To the FML
I would just like to put a message of thanks out to the many people who
responded personally to my question.
 
It was a very informative adventure.
 
Reguarding the dogs and ferrets as family members.  I have leared this.
If possible get a puppy/ The breed doesn't seem to matter with the proper
traing and supervision/ Most ferrets tend to intimidate the cats as well
as the dogs/
 
This information was based on teh response of over thirty ferret owners all
person opinions that I have compiled.  Although personal situations differ
this was the jist of all that information.
