Here is a great (affordable) source sent to me by Ron Carter, ("Fuzzie
Dad") for those metal swivel hooks used on ferret hammocks (and lots of
other stuff) .  Only these are a lot nicer and easier to use than
Marshall's Hammocks' hooks.  Plus, Marshall's informed me they sell only
to retailers, and didn't even specify whether they also sold these hooks,
but basically that they were sorry, they couldn't help me.
 
Ron said : "The ones that I use are nickel plated the Item # is AL-169-12
they cost $30.00 for 100 of them.....The total length is 1 5/8 inch.  The
