Socks left for the Rainbow Bridge at around 915pm, my time.  He has gone
to join Rascal, Lady, and Zeus.
 
I was with him a little while ago.  He seemed to be having trouble
breathing.  His abodomen started to heave as though to vomit.  I was
certain his time had come.  I petted him for a bit, but could not bear to
be there when he left.  Again, I found him with blood around his mouth.
 
Somehow I have failed these kritters who brought so much joy, happiness,
and love into my life.  I just wish I knew how.  Now I look into the kids
room, and can only wonder who will be next.
