Hi,
 
If this is not a life-threatening situation and can wait for 4 months,
might you have the money by then?  Or, if you don't, will the vet take
payments?  Or, can the surgery wait longer than 4 months?  Since we don't
know what the "structural" problem is, it's hard to give advice here.
