Dear Everyone,
Was away and couldn't get this in till now...Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year. May the Lord protect and watch over all your babies and YOU too!

The Pet Connection is the pet store just 2 blocks from my house and
continues to place wood shavings in the ferret crates and the last time I
went in there the poop was so high on the corner of the crate that it
looked like a termite hill in Africa! I have gently told them about the
shavings and the cold drafty floor...to no avail. Getting any "rougher"
will mean no contact with the ferrets that come in there.

My question is: How can I tell them what shavings do to 5 week old babies
and not offend them because they will not call me if a ferret needs a
shelter home. Can you guys give me a series of answers to their
"I-know-it-all comments" and still keep the door open? Or is there no
way to get around the inevitable? "Seeee, this is it youse guys, seeee -
no more Ms. nice woman, seeeeeeee!" The local humane society is just
getting revamped and are not really "in-tune" with ferret maladies yet. I
will be going over there again next week and talk to the director. WHAT
CAN I TELL THIS _______! PET STORE? Sorry didn't mean to yell...

Very upset and stumped,
Shari and her "1/2 dozen + 1 dookers" =20
