Hi,
 
I am having trouble giving up my most recent rescue.  She came to me in
pretty sad shape.  She has come around nicely and is healthy and available.
She is also one of the sweetest ferrets I've ever met.  Her only fault is
that she is so scared of other ferrets that she attacks them.  She screams
in terror and attacks.  If the other ferret turns around (even just to
smell her), she then shrieks some more (poop flying) and runs away to hide.
Then she stays put and threatens any ferret who comes near her hiding
place.
 
She is about 3 1/2 years old and now in good health.  She's been alone all
that time and the first 12 of the last 18 months (basically the year before
I got her), she was neglected terribly.
 
If I can get her to live in the same cage as my other 6, I think I'll be
able to keep her.
 
I am on a holistic cat health list due to a different cat problem.  One
of the things suggested for the cats was Quaking Grass (a Bach Flower
Essence).  It is supposed to help the animals live together without wanting
to kill each other.
 
Has anyone ever tried Quaking Grass with ferrets?  Any luck?  How long does
it take to work?  What dosage did you use?
 
Please let me know!  I really want to integrate her!
