I'm a few days behind, so some one else might have replied to this, but
I know that FAT tumors exist in humans. My father had it and he died 2
months after it was detected. It does indeed grow very rapidly, and as it
was explained to us, it was a cancer of the fat cells, not of any specific
organ in his body. THe technical name is lipo-sarcoma, and I have NEVER
met anyone else who had it; the doctors told us it was a very rare form of
cancer. I do NOT know if it exists in ferrets, but some one else might
know. Hope this helps the person who asked.
