Hi, my friend has a six year old ferret who has already had her left
adrenal removed. She is displaying typical signs of a reoccurrence,
compounded by vaginal discharge that hasn't really cleared up with
antibiotics.

When she contacted Guelph University she was told they no longer do adrenal
surgery, they only use Lupron.

Does this sound right to you? They were willing to do exploratory on the
ferret, but not right adrenal, or any adrenal surgery.

I'd appreciate your input on this.

Also, what might the discharge mean, if not an infection from the outside,
ie something going in due to swelling?

Thanks,

Lara
