First..Happy New Years...to all!!!!
Some of you may know I had 11 ferrets...just got married on Dec. 23,
1999....well...things have changed...and it is all Jean (of Ferrets
Unlimited Ferret Shelter)'s fault!!!!...
Let me explain...we got our last 2 'kids' from jean...charlie & mandi (now
sandi)...and tommy said we were at our limit...even knowing i had my heart
was set on Hope...a tiny dark sable little lady that jean also had... he
would not give in...
THEN jean posted about already getting "Christmas Returns"...that got to
tommy...and he came home and said we were going up to jean's and getting
Hope & Old Guy...so for our "1 week wedding anniversary" we went and got
them...:) so...meet Hope & Old Guy!!!!
BUT...the real reason for this note is to tell you that when we were up
there, we saw many, many gorgeous ferrets she has for adoption...very
beautiful, healthy, friendly, well taken care of ferrets...some were
blind...but that did not slow them down a bit!!!...one little girl only
has 3 legs, i believe she is blind also...but didn't slow her down a bit
either...all different shapes and sizes and colors...some old...some
young...all needing good loving homes... Jean is "over-stocked"...but they
are still very well taken care of and loved 'kids'...
There has to be some of you out there wanting another ferret or two...
willing to give some of these babies the loving, permanent home they
need... I have to admit that when i thought of shelter ferrets i thought
of neglected, needy looking ferrets...well, i was mistaken...these are
beautiful, well cared for ferrets...
Go see for yourself... you CAN find it in your heart to love one or more of
these guys and give him/her a good home!!!
Please think about it... if you are not within driving distance of
Cleveland, OH...then check at a shelter near you...
