Just thought I would attempt to change the topic of magazines from Modern
Ferret to Maxim.  Get out your pens.  I was reading the newest issue of
Maxim magazine with my boyfriend.  One of the articles dealt with which pet
would help men attract women.  One of the pets discussed was the ferret.
Underneath the ferret section was a picture of a black-footed ferret.  But
wait, it gets even better.  The article went on to say that the ferret,
Theo didn't attract too many women because "who can blame them, it's just
a rodent" <--not a direct quote but that was the gist and, in fact, is was
written far more nastily than that.  I urge anyone else that might find
this offensive to write an informative letter to the magazine.  I have
written an email to their website at www.maximmag.com and am also going to
send a 'hard copy' when I can find the address.  Feel free to check out the
magazine yourself before writing!
