Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't been around much lately but I've had two
Hurricanes to respond to, then I took a break and went to Arkansas, then
got home and caught a nasty cold. Needless to say I now have to try and
catch up with the back FML issues I missed.
1. What is the date for submissions to the Christmas Advertising Issue?
[Moderator's note: Not sure there will be one. I never got the previous
ad issue out :-( I'll decide very soon what to do and will inform the
list. BIG]
2. Four ferret! That's right Four ferrets were admitted to the shelter in
one day. All had their vet check and all but one got their Vaccinations
The one we have named "Action Jackson" has heartworm so he did not receive
his vaccinations; he will live his days out here at the shelter in love and
comfort The other three: Rikki, Frisco & Gordon are all older. Rikki is a
people ferret and will NOT LEAVE you alone for a minute. When the Shelter
Dad comes in to the playroom (our bedroom) Rikki climbs up on the bed and
stays with him till play time is over. Gordon just wants to be held and
hiss's if you put him down. Frisco is ROWDY and loves to jump and he
actually growls I swear it.
3. Well, since we just added another $276 to our already whooping Vet bill
we've gone all out this year to sell the Ferret Christmas Tree Angels and
also Millennia the Millennium Ferret Angel of Peace. We have put them up
on EBay and you can find them by searching using the word "ferret" There
are lots of wonderful ferret things on EBay and I've noticed some of the
FMLer's there to.
That's it for now. Everybody take care and hug you fuzzies
