And good morning to you too my 3 ferreteers....

I woke up at 5:00am this morning when one of my little fuzzys decided to
wake me with little nibbles. I got up to find a mini caramel rice cake in
the hall by my bedroom "Oh, no. Not again" I thought to myself as I hit
the light switch and tore off to the kitchen. Sure enough, the 3 little
fuzzys had gotten their own breakfast and didn't bother cleaning up after
themselves. I slowly went to the bottom cabinet where I keep breakfast
items and I found all 6 cereal boxes on the floor, of course they were open
and cereal was spread on the floor and in the cabinet! But my guys must
have been REALLY hungry because I found an empty pop tart box and an empty
granola bar box. Oh give me strength. My oldest but newest boy, Buka,
just kept looking at me with those big eyes and as I tried to clean out the
cabinet and sweep he was there to make sure he cleaned up any pieces I
missed. A few minutes later the other 2 got up and all three were ready
for their morning treat (they get one every morning). Gee guys, haven't
you eaten enough? Of course I couldn't refuse them but gave them less than
usual. Buka usually goes right back to sleep but he was up and active this
morning. Guess it must be the big breakfast he was trying to burn off.
Luckily, I don't buy cereal heavy with sugar. Well tonight I bet they will
even help me as I tip up all my couches & chairs looking for those darn pop
tarts and granola bars.

Can anyone guess what I'm going to ask next?? I tried tying shut my
cabinets--and that didn't work as you can tell. When I left this morning I
put a wooden spoon between the handles and wound my string through that.
My fear is that the guys will decide to "clean house" as my cleaning things
are under my sink. Buka proved he can open that cabinet just before I left
the house. I thought about the fasteners used to keep infants out but I
think the cabinet would open a little and we all know these wonderful
fuzzys can squeeze through anything they want to. I was given the idea of
magnetic snaps and will try them over the weekend. Suggestions???

Just to throw in... if my daughter left that mess she would have heard loud
& clear that you don't do that but with these guys I just sighed, gave them
hugs and hoped for enough time to clean up and still get to work on time.
These fuzzys are great aren't they?

Love, prayers and strength to all those sick fuzzys and the humans they
own. Bless the ones that have gone to Rainbow Bridge.

Dooks to all.
Liv, Alyssa, Rascal, Mittens & Buka
