Got the Modern Ferret #25 (Nov/Dec). As usual there are some hilarious
things in there, and if you look at the Pink Noses page you'll find that an
FML member's ferret is as pretty as claimed (Nope, not telling you who --
so there! Even I can be silly at times.) I WANT that item that Ferretware
shows off in a full page. For you I wanted to be sure to tell you about
these things which I think can be useful: holiday safety tips (with the
last one being my personal favorite -- and don't forget to find out ahead
of time who covers in case your vet goes away!!!!!), loads of recipes for
safe homemade treats for your ferrets so that you won't have to feed them
your own unhealthy ones, information on NYC, an article about what is like
to change the minds of a radio station's personalities by bringing in your
ferrets to hug them by Rene Chartier, a piece by Melanie Hawkins on Ferrets
across America -- a very special service which started here and helps so
many North American ferret people, Bob's info on ferret bones (something
someone on the FML asked about again in recent months) and another by him
on ferret energetics, a checklist for new owners, several pages about
angora ferrets, and assorted silliness which is your own safe holiday
treat. Bon appetit!

Sukie (who sometimes puts what she finds useful in publications so that
people will know to look for given articles, and is now looking forward
to the next issue of AFR)
