My vet has recommended that Linus the ferret go on a hypo-allergenic diet
(not that Linus will accept this recommendation). My question: Does anyone
have a ferret on this kind of diet, and what do you feed him/her? The vet
said basically avoid ingredients that are in most mainstream foods--
chicken, corn.

My vet also said that, with 3 ferrets over 3 years old, he would suggest
I give them cat food instead of kitten food. Whether or not this can be
accomplished of course is another story, but what do I do about my other
one, who is only 1 1/2 yrs old? They're all in the same cage together.
Should I give her nutritional supplements?

any info would be appreciated. Linus has a vet appt. in a week.
