I bought a small device at my pharmacy for about $8.  It has a very sharp
razor in it and you open the top, put the pill in the guide and put the top
down and press.  This causes the razor to cut the pill in half.  Repeat and
cut the 2 halves into 4.
 
Something else you may want to look into is, my vet's office used to cut
the pills up for me, or sometimes the pharmacist will cut them if you ask
nicely.
