Food comment/question-

I just recently successfully switched all my ferrets to a hypo-allergenic
diet, on the strong advice of their vet. I was rather surprised it was
such a successful experiment, though two of them just love food in general.
The one I was most concerned about was my oldest, who at 6 yrs. old has
been eating Iams kitty food for over 4 1/2 years. So now they all eat IVD
Duck & Potato--a better diet than i get:). HOWEVER the downside--now they
poop more than they used to. And it's not as solid/dark (the cat food
itself is not as solid/dark). ItUs been two to three weeks...am I doomed
to this excessive amount of presents in the litter box? I was hoping it
was a transitory thing, but IUm beginning to suspect not.

Health question-

Can anyone tell me, how swollen is a swollen vulva? Is is obvious when
this happens to female ferrets with adrenal disease? I am of course
paranoid b/c one of my boys just went through that experience, but my
oldest Zooey has a "little bit" of missing hair on the tip of her tail
and a "little bit" of vulva that is slightly bigger than my other girls'.

Any peace of mind would be appreciated!

thank you-

Minta
