Well, here's what my boyfriend's reason was for wanting a ferret (& mine
too - the cat part - Jason is allergic):
 
"Because they are a like a cross between a monkey & a cat!"
 
Jason's favorite animals are monkeys! ;O)  Since we can't have cats OR
monkeys, here we are w/ 4 fuzzbutts!  Jason has the tendencey to call the
furkids "monkeys" - lol!
