to fatten or not to fatten

I was wondering...and I probably wouldn't if it weren't for Pepe (my
chunky boy) as a comparison...should I fatten Chimi up?

He is only 2 pounds and 1 year old. When I last had him at the vet in
September - he was only 1.8 pounds. I am giving him the benefit of the
doubt by saying he is two pounds since it is winter.

Pepe on the other hand was 2.5 PRE-winter- and he just turned 1 year. I
know he weighs more now because he is just a chunk of ferret.

Chimi is a bird. Should I try to fatten him up? He doesn't look
malnourished, he just feels very light when you pick him up. they eat
TF and are in good health (or so I think)

thanks for any insights into this. We go for distemper boosters soon, so
I'll ask the vet too.

Sincerely, Stephanie, Chimi & Pepe
If there isn't a problem, I'll inevitably create one
