Dont know if that is the correct spelling.  I noticed blood in Phoebes
stool, 2 piles out of 5, looked to be blood tinged..of course I took her
to the vet along with a poop sample..checked for everything..came back
negative..heart and lungs sounded good, spleen felt large, she says that is
normal for ferrets....NOT...but I did not correct her, my usual vet was
out..so anyway...she was not sure of the dosage, she said she would look
into it, I am assuming it is for a possible GI upset due to the pred.?!
would pepto not do the same thing?  Does anyone know the dosagefor carafat
for a 1 pound 13 oz ferret?, please e-mail me,I would like to be able to
call her today with that information.
